Exporting grain from Ukraine requires thorough document preparation. Incorrect or incomplete paperwork leads to customs delays, penalties and shipment failures.

Document List
Foreign Trade Contract
The primary document defining delivery terms, price, volume and party obligations. Must comply with currency control requirements.
Commercial Invoice
Commercial document specifying goods value, payment terms and party details. Required for customs clearance.
Phytosanitary Certificate
Confirms absence of quarantine pests and diseases. Mandatory for all grain export shipments. Issued by the State Service of Ukraine.
Quality Certificate
Laboratory analysis results: moisture, protein, impurities, gluten. Can be from an accredited laboratory or SGS/Bureau Veritas.
Customs Declaration
Prepared for each export shipment. Includes commodity code, value, destination country and other information for customs control.
CMR (Consignment Note)
Accompanies cargo during road transport. Confirms acceptance of cargo for transportation and its delivery to the terminal.
Bill of Lading
The key maritime document confirming cargo acceptance on board the vessel. Serves as a document of title and basis for payment settlements.
EUR.1 (Certificate for EU)
Certificate of origin granting preferential customs tariff for exports to EU countries. GTK issues EUR.1 on-site at the terminal.
